The
Fellowship of Christ the Healer is an informal body made up of the various centres
and organizations in the UK and USA dedicated to the practice of the ministry
of healing alongside the various churches across these lands.
The
Fellowship has been established for four years, and grew out of the gap left by
the demise of The Churches Council for Health and Healing.
"It
is a great encouragement to see the widespread growth in the ministry of healing.
but it can be costly, and sometimes lonely. Physical, emotional, as well as spiritual
resources can be put under great pressure. The 'Fellowship of Christ the Healer'
is now helping to meet the need for mutual support and prayer, as well as the
sharing of experience and insights. I count it as a privilege to be closely identified
with it."
"The
'Fellowship of Christ the Healer' provides a necessary and wonderful
opportunity for leaders in Christian care projects to share
confidentially the challenges and encouragements they find in
their work. I believe that all carers need care, all healers
need healing, and all servants of Christ need to be served.
This annual gathering is a unique opportunity to meet these
needs."
